Big bodied, correct and easy going, we try not to have any favorites when our broodmares are concerned but it is hard not to when you own a broodmare of this caliber. When we found "Buggy" she was going through a sale in North Dakota so I jumped in the truck and drove over with the intention of purchasing this nice mare. She didn't show up! As the owner still wanted to sell her, I ended up driving all the way to New Mexico to claim her as ours and we have never been disappointed in that decision.

By the broodmare sire Streakin Six, you just do not see Lady Bug's Moon up this close anymore! With gritted teeth, we always say that all our horses are for sale but if asking about "Buggy" be ready to break open the piggy bank as we don't want her to leave us very badly! She is bred to Bully Bullion for '08 and we are thinking of breeding her to Dash Ta Fame or Bully Bullion for '09. Check out the babies she has already given us in the prospects and weanling pages.

Penny Purse SI 90
2001 bay mare

Sire: On A High  AAA
Dam: Purse Money

We claimed Penny off of the Tillamook Fair race track a few years back, we were so excited to find her!  The owner cried when he found out what we had done but later thanked us as he needed to have some surgery but wanted to keep running this nice mare...now he would have the surgery!   I started her on barrels and she had wonderful potential but we had purchased her just a little too late to get her ready for Futurities and felt she would excel as a broodmare with her bloodlines.  Penny blessed us with a fabulous Dash Ta Fame filly this year ('08), check her out in the yearling/weanling section.  We have a price of $25,000 on Penny, she is back in foal to Dash Ta Fame for 2009...what a gal!  There are a couple of Dash Ta Fame/On a High horses burning up the track and the arena, you could own one, too!.

She is a big mare at 16.1 hands and weighing around 1250+ pds. Dennis Ta Menace, a top BFA barrel futurity horse for 2007, is out of a Beda Cheng mare as well as Famous Beda B Me another big futurity, derby and 1D money winner. Poo Cheng produces babies with very trainable minds and powerfully correct bodies and legs. Her babies also seem to mature early in body and mind for those potential juvenile futurities or someone who just wants to be able to get to work.

1996 Red Dun/Tob-Overo

Sire:  Lucky Straw
Dam:
Precious Scribbles X Scribbles

If you have ever had your clock cleaned by a paint horse, colored or solid, in the northwest Lucky Straw was probably the sire, he produced many great barrel and roping horses and most people didn't even realize how great he was until he was gone .  I first met Hattie at the Totally Texas Futurity with Italy Spratt aboard, Hattie had been a "gamer"

but Italy and her daughters had seen the potential in the opinionated filly and had recently purchased her.  I had mentioned to Italy how much  I liked her and appreciated the Lucky Straw lines...and then Italy and Hattie ran the fastest time of the Derby and I liked her even more!  A stifle injury cut short her barrel racing career and we jumped at the chance to lease Hattie as a broodmare for a few years.  Thank you to Italy Spratt and Jessica Tatone for allowing us to use this nice mare! bred to Dash For Perks for 2008
